Scorpions have become an increasingly common pest in Southern Nevada. Most notably, the Bark Scorpion. While there are 25 species of scorpions in Nevada, the Bark Scorpion is the most notorious, and the most dangerous. Female scorpions can produce up to 100 young in her lifetime, carrying them on her back until they molt. They enter homes through tiny cracks and can live 2-5 years.

When threatened, scorpions produce a very painful sting, that can be lethal to the elderly or children under 18 months. Due to their tough exoskeleton, they are nearly impossible to eliminate with conventional ‘spray’ treatments alone, and require the help of true professionals.
